We are a tanner, lab, and leather trading company in Tatsuno City, Hyogo Prefecture. Although our company was founded in 2021, we were established as AIC after nearly 20 years of manufacturing and selling leather under our parent company, the apparel trading company IFB Group. We provide safe and secure leather materials using our original Portilla® method. The Portilla® method is an eco-tanning method that does not use any harmful chemicals such as chromium and is highly biodegradable and "returns to the soil."

Our main products are the raw hides of wild animals (deer, boar, bear) that are considered pests, which are tanned using the Portilla® method and proposed to clients. We respond to requests from clients in areas across the country, such as Hyogo Prefecture, Tottori Prefecture, Yamanashi Prefecture, Nagano Prefecture, and Hokkaido, that are troubled by pest damage but have set up slaughterhouses to "recycle pests into resources." The services we provide are the processing and sale of raw hides, contract processing of raw hides, and proposals for OEM products in collaboration with partner factories. With the aim of expanding this business, we are entering this business as we believe it is an opportunity to develop new customers and expand sales of Portilla® Gibier Leather.
